Deposits and Cancellations
Meera Salon and Day Spa Deposit and Cancellation Policy
We hope that you will not need to cancel your appointment. We do our best to meet your scheduling needs and request that you adhere to our cancellation policy. We are a commission based small business, and as such, when clients do not show for appointments it affects us all. The following timeframes allows us time to try to fill the time slots.
Unless otherwise stated, we require 24 hour notice for single service, and 48 hours notice for 2 or more service cancellations and rescheduling appointments. Failure to cancel or reschedule within this time frame can result in a charge of the total amount for the scheduled total. Upon the 3rd instance of a late cancellation or “no show” you will be required to pre-pay for appointments, or you may gladly go to a walk in basis. We reserve the right to request payment up front in the case of a no show or last minute cancellation on the first instance.
Deposits
Because of the amount of time required, deposits are required on parties and multiple services. Deposits can be cash, check or credit card and the amount charged will be applied toward the services on the day of your appointments. Please note, we do not hold credit card information.
Multiple Services and Spa Packages
A deposit of 50% of the total service is required for any spa package or multiple appointments. Packages for more than one person will be considered a spa party. All packages and multiple services require 48 hours notice for cancellation. No refunds are given on cancellations with less than 48 hours notice.
Spa and Bridal Parties
A “spa party” is when multiple services or spa packages are booked on the same day for 2 or more people, or if single services are booked for multiple people. Depending on the number of services, a deposit that equals 50% of all services is required to hold the appointments. This deposit is refundable only if services are cancelled with at least 48 hours notice. No refunds are given on cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. Deposits will be retained for any member of a party that does not cancel with 48 hours notice, it will not be used for the remainder of the party.
Other Deposits
Due to the high rate of “No Shows” and late cancellations, the following will also require a 50% Deposit.
- Anyone scheduling a service on behalf of another (surprises)
- New Clients scheduling with other New Clients
